Glass Façades & Aluminum Domes

Glass façades that give a building presence and daylight

Structural glazing, curtain walls, skylights and glass domes on aluminum frames.

Aluminum-framed glass dome seen from below

Overview

Structural glazing and curtain-wall façades use dedicated aluminum sections that hold double tempered glass, so the building reads as a continuous glass skin without visible concrete divisions. Systems differ by how much aluminum shows on the outside.

Each façade is detailed to the consultant’s drawings and the building’s requirements. We also build glazed roofs and domes that bring daylight into halls and stairwells.

Systems and options

  • Structural glazing (structural silicone, S.G.)
  • Curtain wall with visible mullions
  • Double tempered glass in the colour you choose
  • Fully closed tubular sections
  • Concealed fixings after installation
  • Outward-opening vents on request
  • Aluminum-framed glazed roofs and domes

Benefits

More daylight

Large glazed areas bring light deep inside.

A unified architectural look

Continuous glass gives the building a clear identity.

Sealed against water and dust

Wide internal gaskets and silicone sealing between glass and aluminum.

Protected during works

Aluminum surfaces are film-protected against scratches during fabrication and installation.

Typical uses

  • Dimensions (width × height) of each opening
  • Quantity and number of openings
  • Material and system (aluminum, uPVC, tempered glass…)
  • Opening or operating method
  • Colour and finish
  • Glass type where relevant
  • Project location and installation conditions

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between structural glazing and a curtain wall?

In structural glazing the glass is bonded with structural silicone so almost no aluminum shows outside; in a curtain wall the aluminum mullions are visible between the glass panels.

Do you work to the consultant’s drawings?

Yes. We review the drawings and requirements and propose a system suited to the building’s height and dimensions.

Can you build a glass dome or skylight for a villa?

Yes, aluminum-framed glazed roofs and domes for halls and stairwells, following a site visit.
