Overview
Roller shutters are aluminum slats fitted over windows and doors to control privacy and light and to shield against sun, wind and dust. Slats are available in plain aluminum, aluminum-zinc, or foam-filled aluminum for better insulation.
Options include solid, perforated, wide-vision and security slats, operated by manual strap, crank handle, or electric motor with a remote or wall switch.

Frequently asked questions
Is a motorised shutter better than a manual one?
Motorised shutters are easier day to day, especially for large openings; manual shutters are simpler and cost less. The quotation shows both.
What do foam-filled slats add?
The foam core improves thermal insulation and helps reduce noise compared with single-skin slats.
Can a shutter be added to an existing window?
Usually yes, depending on the opening size and where the head box can go — confirmed during the site visit.
